Sky puck crashing uhd

Got a couple of issues with my sky puck when watching UHD content.

Sometimes the video will freeze and then when it resumes the audio will go crackly, and stay that way until it is rebooted. Othertimes it will not resume and will stay frozen until it gets rebooted. This normally only happens when I am watching UHD content. I am using the hdmi the puck came with and a s90d tv.

As you may be aware, having a good local network is a key factor for having a reliable experience with Sky Stream.

Not just broadband speed to your house and router, but for your local network supply via wifi or ethernet, that can be affected in a busy household or can suffer from some local interference.

This is often more apparent when using UHD

Sky recommended minimum broadband speed is 25Mbps.
Or 30Mbps if you add an extra Sky Stream puck or watch in UHD.

Are you using wifi or an ethernet connection?

Just to be certain it's not a speed issue at your puck, can you run the following network speed test on your Puck.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test several times, over say a half hour period during tests.
What is the speed for your puck?

Re: Sky puck crashing uhd

Is it not bandwidth issue. No other apps have this issue. I have a 300Gib/s connection and no walls between router and puck.

I expect I have a dodgy puck but have not been able to work out how to contact anyone at sky.
