Sky puc
My puck keeps freezing some times on the home screen or after an hour , I managed to watch th f1 for nearly 2hrs but froze then goes to a black screen. The puck gets hot and can only connect with WiFi. I have changed hdmi cables and performed a reset x3 but doesn't seem to work. I don't leave it plugged in as it gets too hot.
Cheers

What broadband speed is being received by your puck? Go to the get help menu on the Netflix app and run a network check. This will give you an idea of the speed it's getting.

Re: Sky puc
Hi there the speed is not the issue as my old BT equipment has no issues and doesn't get hot.

So did you run the network check from Netflix on the puck? Your old BT equipment is irrelevant. Speed will be the issue if the puck isn't receiving a decent enough WiFi connection. Stream pucks are quite susceptible to interference so you need to check the actual speed being received by the puck. Not what your router is supposed to give you or what your BT equipment functioned with.

Re: Sky puc
Hi there.
According to my sky app I am running at 56.3 mb/s. I can't access any other apps on the puck because it freezes on the homepage
Cheers

Re: Sky puc
@Martbas previously said you need to check the speeds your puck is receiving, it's irrelevant what the app says as that information is not necessarily what the puck is receiving.
Open the Netflix app >Get Help > Check your Network, this will tell you the exact speeds the puck is receiving.
Also try not to be so dismissive and abrupt when people are trying to help you.

Re: Sky puc
Hi there.
Sorry to seem that I'm abrupt but I have autism and this is causing me grief.
Is there a guide for me to access the Netflix app.
Many thanks
