Sky pin

So I've set up my sky stream on my tv, and I also watch sky go on my laptop and phone etc, but when watching certain shows It says I need to set up a pin which I've already done.

what can I do?

Hi @Matty1996  Are you sure it is asking you to setup a new PIN and not asking you to enter your PIN.

MAybe certain Apps require you to setup a PIN but TBH I don't recall having to do so when watching on my Stream puck.

If I try to watch sky Atlantic etc it comes up with the message it looks like you haven't set up a sky pin for sky go yet.

Apologies @Matty1996 I don't use Sky Go so wouldn't have experienced the problem you are having.   I imagine it is wanting a PIN as the programme is age restricted before the watershed.

I can only suggest that even though you have previously setup a PIN for Sky Go when it comes up with that message maybe try and create another PIN.  Make a note of it and if you manage to get it working there will no doubt be an option to change your PIN so you could revert back to your old one.

As mentioned above this sounds like a before watershed pin request.

The Sky channels including Sky Atlantic often show during the daytime shows that require a pre watershed pin to be entered.

Have a read of this Sky Article, especially the pin for daytime viewing section.
