Sky go extra with sky stream puck

Hey,

I wish to add sky go extra at a £5 cost so my son can watch on his Xbox, which I was told he could do without multiroom or whole home.

I was just been on the phone and spoke to 2 different advisors who didn't really know what I was on about and kept saying just download the sky go app on the console and log in.

I tried to explain this doesn't work and wanted to add sky go extra to my subscription as stated online I could request this with being a sky TV+ customer.

After being on hold for a long time was advised I need to have whole home but this is not noted in any terms and conditions that I can see.

Has anyone else managed to have sky go extra on sky stream with just adding that as a standalone??

I am feeling very confused 😕

@Lou996  You need Whole Home to be able to use Sky Go on a Stream account:

Watching and using Sky Go

  • To use Sky Go, you’ll need a Multiscreen, Sky Go Extra, or a Sky Streaming TV Whole Home subscription.
  • Not all shows and movies can be watched live and you’ll need the right TV package for what you’re trying to watch.
  • You can't download or record through Sky Go on your console, but you can on your compatible phone, tablet, laptop or computer.
Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
