Sky glass not streaming

Sky glass isn't streaming/loading. Internet connection is fine. 
is there a technical issue. 
No issues detected in my area when I check status.

Can you explain further in what you mean it is not streaming? Does the TV turn on? Is there an error screen or is the screen blank?

The TV is on. When I select a programme to watch it just says 'loading' then says there is a technical fault. All programmes not just the live sport I am trying to watch.

Have you tried pulling the plug for a few minutes

All sorted. Didn't try that initially because I have 2 glass TVs and they were both the same.

Just like most modern devices the sky glass needs a power off / on occasionally - I have mine plugged into a Tapo smart plug so that I can use an app or Alexa to power it off an on 

just a little bit lazy 😂
