@Baker123  Just unplug the hdmi lead from your current tv and plug into new tv,then go to setting on your puck connected devices,sky remote and follow the onscreen instructions to set your remote to

Re: Sky Stream Puck

Hi, Tried to connect the new tv to the puck which unfortunately did not work. Carried out a factory reset on the puck after connecting to the new tv, got the SKY emblem on the tv screen, then a message advising searching for software update, then a message advising that update was downloading. After waiting 20 minutes the tv screen was blank apart from showing HDMI 1 in the top right hand corner-Tried this procedure several times but still have the same result- went through this same setting up procedure on another spare TV which connected perfectly. Any ideas what could be preventing the update and the puck connecting to my first replacement tv?

@Baker123

If you'd only just powered it up, I'd think any 'software update' was on the television sets own smart operating system, and nothing to do with the Sky puck.

Re: Sky Stream Puck

Thanks for the reply.

Any ideas as to what I can do to get the tv that won't work to get it working? As previously stated, I have carried out a factory reset on the puck and the tv shows that the software has been downloaded and configured but still won't go to the next stage to pair the tv to the remote....it just sits there with a blank screen?....No error messages.....nothing?

Set the puck up on another tv then plug it back in to the tv that don't work?

You shouldn't have to reset the puck when swapping between tvs

Re: Sky Stream Puck

Hi, As suggested I have connected the puck to the non working tv after getting the puck working on another tv but still have the same problem....Puck has a white light showing and the non working tv has a blank screen apart from a box showing HDMI 1 which the puck is plugged into......Tried HDMI 2 connection on the non working tv and still have the same issue.

Any ideas please?

Re: Sky Stream Puck

There is absolutely no need to perform a full reset on a working puck when connecting to a new TV.

All you need to do is plug in the HDMI cable and select the correct input on the new TV.

If a reboot, removing the power for 5 minutes, doesn't kick it into life then you'll have to call SKY, have the device serial number handy.

I would suggest that the puck is working fine and it's the new tv that's the issue

have you got another device you can try in the tvs hdmi port like a firestick or Xbox
