I'm really disappointed with Sky.
I have never been contacted by Debt Collectors other than sky themselves.
My family has been waiting for for over 36 hours, made several calls and chats to sky and still not getting anywhere .
we could have used all that money we used to go for Virgin Media but sacrificed it all for Sky for the hope that we get it reinstated.
The message in my screen is giving us false hope that it will be restored in less than 2 hours .
why are you lying to us we have been waiting for nearly 3 days and still got this message.
we have paid everything directly to you Sky through My Sky App and now telling us contact Debt Collectors . When asked which debt collectors, Sky said they don't know.
We feel like we have been scammed by Sky passing us around not getting anywhere.
please help ASAP

Customers can't resolve your issues ... you need to phone Sky and discuss your issues with Sky CSs😟

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHave you also setup a new payment method on your account as usually when services are restricted due to late payment the direct debit or continuous card details are removed from the account?
If you have then you should also try rebooting your Sky device by turning it off at the plug for a minute.

That's why we have the forum @Exiled-in-HH we are all customers here I'm sure at some point I've been in the same situation and my services have been limited until the debt was cleared and new payment details are entered
Even though the same bank details are the same you still need to update your payment details.

Only Sky CSs can resolve the OPs issue you can't😉
You can only advise what needs to be done ... the OPs already done what you are advising🤔

@Exiled-in-HH how do you know if the OP has re-established payment details and also tried a reboot?
The suggestion to just call customer services isn't always necessarily the answer, particularly when it comes to issues like this where there is a well defined and documented process which details what needs to be done by a customer to unrestrict services, which for the majority of customers in this situation solves the problem for them.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHow long was your account in arrears? It's normally a considerable while before Sky involve a debt collwxtion agency.

Just a month , coz I was away , and obviously changed bank details which only left me with £45 arrears , but has been paid off .

It's the norm on here.. It's more of "I'm in the club" forum than a help forum.
