I have just turned mine on and all seems to be working fine again. Thank you!

Working as normal now. Thanks for whatever you did.
I should point out that this has happened a number of times before but usually it recovers after a short period, unlike last night.
is this something I should he taking up with Hyperoptic?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@deejay187 Possibly, but there's no harm in posting here also as it can be flagged to Sky who can flag it to Hyperoptic.

I've had sky glass for around a month now. In that time had quite a few problems with it stating technical fault with channel. Normally a turn off and on at plug can solve issue but more and more it's not working. Spoken to sky a couple times and not really solved it, and now been told it could be down to hyperoptic broadband. Is this an issue that any other hyperoptic users are experiencing? And how to solve as right now, sky glass is not fit for purpose and I've got a tv I can't watch. Thanks

Agreed, the streaming service is shocking. A real shame for a company that has been leader in broadcasting. I need out of this contract. Customer support and surveys mean nothing.

It appears so from reading this discussion🤔

Do you have a WiFi extender attached to your hyperoptic router? This also created problems for me when I first got sky stream (and I assume the same may be true of sky glass). It seems that the sky streaming kept switching between the two and kept giving me a technical fault (only on sky channels, Netflix etc worked fine). When I identified and switched off the extender, it all worked normally again.
Hopefully the fix from the other day has fixed this as well.

Finished work.... Long week.... Time to relax and watch the footy.... Oh no. Wait!
I'm having the same issue all over again this evening! Not good.

Same here, not as bad. I can watch for 2 mins before technical fault blue screen comes up. We need to push for a proper resolution and compensation as I'm paying a fortune for Sky but end up watching apps supplied by my TV. As I was typing this it failed again.

Yep same here - was working fine for a few days and now its all gone off again. i wondered if it might be a problem with switching between the two bandwidths (2.4ghz and 5ghz) but ive got one puck set up to each and neither are working so its probably not that.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@deejay187 @Gordon_Hunter If you're on Hyperoptics network and this is occurring then the issue is with them, what have Hyperoptic said when you contacted them?
There isn;t any issues being reported with other ISP's at present.

Same problem. Came up with technical fault on Wednesday. Thought it was system overload due to match. Tried to watch again tonight and same problem. Sky helpline suggested its a hyperoptic issue. Can still watch netflix, bbc iplayer etc only. Only live tv and playlists affected.

I wonder if it is just one area of hyperoptic or all of the hyperoptic network. 🤔 Im in Salford Quays, where abouts is everyone else?

I'm in Leeds and have the same blue screen technical fault issue on Hyperoptic
