Hi all
Really livid right now. Catching up on this afternoons darts day 5. Watching the last match and halfway through it just cuts out. End of programme. The programme ran over it's alloted 4hrs but the stream length is 4hrs 15mins. How am I paying for a service to watch something that I'm not allowed to watch because Sky have decided to cut the stream shorter than the actual programme ran for? There is no other way of watching it, so my only option is to just see who won online. That's not what I'm paying for? That's not good enough? What's the answer here? If the answer is it's tough luck then that's not good enough, it's the biggest event on sky sports at the moment, they shouldn't be cutting their streams shorter than the programme airs for? Surely someone at sky is monitoring that?

Thanks for the response. But surely that's not good enough? I pay for sky sports mostly to watch the darts which then sky don't even allow me to do? Why is this not sorted by sky?

Would I have had the same problem had I got Sky Q and recorded it?

Quite possibly as often, but not always, Sky (and other broadcasters too) fail to extend the end time on the programme when it overruns. Obviously, this is more likely with live events such as Sport. It's down to the relevant broadcaster to update their data in Sky's EPG to reflect this and they regularly fail to do so. When that broadcaster is Sky themselves, there's really no excuse.

@Ncfc2023 Isn't what you want to see in the Darts Catch Up?

Yes but not until 24hrs after the event which when there is 8hrs of content unless want to be consistently behind is not viable or acceptable as a solution

To be fair it's not 24hrs but it is early hours the next morning so effectively the next day
