Sky Remote not working Receiver Sound

Im now using a Sky Puck with my Sony TV and Sony Receiver STR-DN1080

I pair the puck by choosing the receiver model in the sky settings but then it doesn't work. Anyone else managed to find a way to get the sky remote changing the volume on a AV Receiver please

@LC123456789a Your amplifier supports e-ARC so your tv volume control should control the amp when the sound is set to be via the ARC link. Therefore programme the puck remote to control the TV's volume rather than the amp.
