Sky Puck....volume intermittently turns off...

I have a sky puck, I've bought new cables,  rebooted, reset, unplugged, changed HDMI, reset TV back to factory settings, changed batteries.. changed sound to auto, then Digital and all the others..but still intermittently the sound goes off....only way to get the sound back is to either click on settings with remote and it instantly returns (dont actually go into settings just click on it) or unplug WiFi or unplug puck or turn everything off and on again....absolutely nuisance....any ideas?
