Sky Puck Voice Activation

Can't make the voice activation work on my remote without having to shout into it. Anyone got an idea how I can make it more user friendly?

Hi @PaulGreener and welcome to the forum.

 

Try rebooting your Glass TV.   To do this go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device (do not do a factory reset).  It takes about 3 minutes to completely reboot. You will have a blank screen for a couple of minutes before the Sky logo appears so don’t worry when this happens as you start the process.

 

If that doesn't help then try resetting and then pairing the remote again

  1. Press 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds (This resets/clears the remote)
  2. Press 1 and 3 together for three seconds (bluetooth mode) and follow the on-screen instructions.

Sadly that did not help. It still does not respond unless shouted at which is useless!.

@Paul+Greener call Sky report the issue as it could simply be a dodgy remote. I find holding the remote like a microphone and speaking slowly and clearly works for me without having to shout.
