Re: Sky Puck Freezing

Been on to Sky and they checked all connections and fine, I'm fed up turning the puck off at wall at least twice a day cos of it freezing. Each time it does I check my connection speed and getting 62mbps so well above the required level. Only option now is to cancel and try virgin media!

@Linzib23 if possible connect to your router with an Ethernet cable. Solved our issue!

And disable the wifi in the network settings as well when switching over to ethernet, otherwise it will default back over to the Wifi.

Re: Sky Puck Freezing

Hi,

I've had Sky Stream for just over a week with 0 issues, but then as soon as I start watching the football tonight for the start of the season my puck starts playing up, black screens, freezing, restarting itself, all issues already mentioned basically! Couldn't get through the match at all. It's been completely fine until tonight and I've been using it for other live TV including a film. So frustrating as the main reason for having it was for sport and it's not playing ball!

I have tried switching to Ethernet which hasn't worked, and even turning off at the wall is only a brief fix before it freezes again ir crashes completely. I will leave it unplugged overnight but it's such a shame because I was more than happy with it before this started happening!
