Sky q v sky stream v Sky multi room

11:07 PM

I have 3 TVs connected to  Sky Q - one main box and 2 minis supporting 3 tvs.
I am looking to add a projector and maybe one Tv.

What is best solution. Will normally only need 2 devices at any one time, maybe exceptionally 3 devices at one time

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Sky Q can support up to 2 minis in addition to the main box, so 3 TVsin total.

Sky stream you can have up to 6 pucks all under the Whole Home hub all support UHD.

It's worth noting stream is reliant on broadband for all live channels and apps plus you need to be able to support all the pucks you have, each puck should have a minimum of 25mbps for HD and 35mbps for UHD.

You also need strong reliable WiFi or use ethernet, the pucks unlike the Q minis don't act as a mesh.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
