Sky Atlantic issues when pausing or fast forwarding

I'm getting increasingly frustrated with watching shows on sky Atlantic via my sky glass tv. For instance I watched The Wire. If I went to pause the show it would start jumping to an ad break. I would try to rewind or fast forward depending where it jumps to but it would just jump straight back to the same ad break part. In the end I would have to come out of the episode and put something else on to break the link. Then I could go back to the show and the issue is fixed. This was happening every other episode though. So became utterly ridiculous. I chalked it up to it being that show. Imagine my horror at it now doing it on The Broadwalk Empire!!!! One thing did catch my attention. On one episode that played up and I managed to get working again didn't have ad breaks in it. So is it a problem with the skip ad feature? As this is where the programme jumps to before having issues? 
Either fix it Sky or get rid of the ad breaks. I mean who in the hell would choose to watch ads anyway? Everyone probably skips them, so would be a more enjoyable watch not having to skip blooming skip every five minutes!!

Do you have the ad skipping add on?

 

Either way the best course of action would be to report the issue to Sky's viewer relations team. Their email is viewerR@sky.uk. We are fellow customers here on the community and sky don't regularly respond here.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I do indeed have the ad skipping add on. 

I will take your advice and contact Skys viewer relations team. 
I did wonder if Sky would actually see this but after chat bots and on hold for so long I hoped someone else might be experiencing this. 

I will make sure to post any fix so if other users start experiencing this too then hopefully it will help them and they avoid the frustration of  trying to contact Sky.
