I bet your viewing the UHD or HLG version. You need to change the format to the HD version. It's not a channel. @Super+Anthony

It's on-demand, The Day of The Jackal. The HD version.
There won't be an option to skip ads on live tv, just on-demand and only on Sky's own content (so won't appear on ITV, C4 etc.)

Because the UHD versions have no adds so no need for it @Super+Anthony

There aren't ads on the UHD/HDR versions, to skip.

@Gincap wrote:If ADs are a headache it is worth signing up to ITVX and C4+ if you watch content from these broadcasters. Often deals to be had. ITVX was £2 per month not sure if that offer still stands.
The ITVX Premium subscription you're referring to was a Black Friday offer. Not available now. Maybe another offer will pop again sometime.

Glad you are finding it useful.
As a few others in this thread have mentioned, it's a nice easy way to jump through the ads on Sky catch-up/On demand content and yes has worked very well for me too.
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

Re: Skip ads button
I just noticed over Christmas the skip adds button appear. Works perfectly so far and makes add skipping so much smoother and easier than it was before this upgrade. Finally! Not had any issues with it and a much needed feature now added. To be fair to stream , since I re-located my virgin wifi box have had zero drop outs and only 1 reboot needed so far in December. And zero issues with doing a full re-watch binge of GOT over Christmas - the playlist remembered exactly where we were (had issues with this in the past)
The skip adds button makes the add skipping add on now worth it - although I got a year free on this when Sky totally mashed my initial order on a home move ) happy days!

Re: Skip ads button
I do indeed - I rang Sky and the agent wasn't even aware of the update couldn't help me. I'm based in Ireland so the only thing I can think of is that the update was for the UK only - which would be incredibly frustrating. Do you know if it's possible to raise this with a Sky employee on this platform?
Thanks
