Skip Ads - the ads have found me
I had a great run a couple of months ago where downloaded Sky content came completely with ads during the show. So I'd get an initial couple of ads I could use the Skip Ads button on, then the programme would just play through. These were current Sky shows like The Rookie.
This week the in-show ads are back.
Did I get a beta test of upcoming software, or was it just a fluke?
Anyone else experience this?
I must say I loved it, so if there's any way to get it back, bring it on!

You're not downloading Sky content - it streams directly from Sky's servers.
It's possible that Sky just struggled to sell advertising space in the shows you were watching as fewer people watch TV in the summer, hence no ads during the show.

Yeah sorry for the terminology.
Your second point doesn't stack up, but thanks for the reply.
