Return of PUK

I purchased my Sky PUK when I signed up for 30 days rolling contract to sky stream. I signed up in January 2022. My contract says I own the Streaking PUK, but Sky have sent a returns box and a letter demanding return? It took a letter to Customer Services to finally cancel the service, as Sky make it almost impossible to cancel. Should I just ignore the box?

Well the streaming puck I believe becomes completely useless without an active Sky subscription anyway so whilst you may own it it's basically a worthless piece of junk with no subscription as far as I'm aware.

Re: Return of PUK

That's doesn't account for the 39.95 I paid them for the PUK. If they want it back, they need to refund that amount. I understand the month after I subscribed they changed it to loan of the kit. Appreciate it's worthless, but then I need a refund to return it.

I believe the £39 accounts for the delivery fees and the warranty on the device.

everyone has to pay £39 for the puck it's a standard fee, even for the loaned ones (unless you pay for whole home when the first puck is given for free, but sequent pucks you have to pay for).

Re: Return of PUK

If you own the Puck you can sell it.... so it is not worthless just not very valuable😉

Refer Sky Customer Services to your account where it says you own the Puck in question🤔

Re: Return of PUK

Contract 100% says it's owned. They want it back, they can pay. If they loan it, Sky covers the warranty, and 39.95 for delivery is quite ridiculous.

@Bettsy1234  this does seem strange, to confirm is it just the one puck you have or do you have more that were ordered after 23rd February 2023

i wouldn't dispose of it until this situation is resolved one way or the other as you would be liable for non return fees as things currently stand

Re: Return of PUK

What contract are you referring to?

You should look at what is reported on your Sky account either on MySky or online😉
