Replacement remote not working properly

Replacement remote has just arrived from sky and still the volume buttons are not working. They did but now they don't. It now

wont turn the TV on/off either.

Sounds like you have not paired the remote correctly, in allowing your Sky remote control to pair with your TV.

 

Which TV and model do you have?

 

Would suggest re pairing exactly as it shows here on step 2

Thanks but I am pairing it correctly, as per the instructions, and it's not working......that's the issue. Sky sent a replacement remote and still the volume buttons don't work and it doesn't turn the tv/puck off at the same time.
