I have just set up my sky stream box. My remote was working apart from the volume buttons. I have gone to fix that issue and now the remote it not working at all. Can you offer any advice please?

@Tom1991 Try resetting the remote, firstly press and hold 4 & 6 for around 10 seconds, then press and hold 7 & 9 for around 10 seconds. Then attempt to pair by pressing and holding 1 & 3 until the message appears on screen.

@Tom1991 Unfortunately the remotes supplied with Glass and Stream are pretty cheap and are continually causing problems.

You could also try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth.  Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it has got many faulty remotes working again (including mine).

If none of the above works then phone Sky to discuss and request a replacement remote.  Alternatively, post back here and I can escalate your post to the Community Messaging Team.

Not everyone does but if you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement..
