Remote setup and apps reset everytime

I have two Sky Stream boxes. Often the second box doesn't remember programme progress from the first and apps are logged out and passwords have to be re-entered. Using the microphone option with the remote also has to be re-set-up almost every time I use it.

Have you tried doing a settings restart of your Sky Stream puck.

We have found it helps to do this about once a week on a puck, to clear any local cache or niggles.

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.

 

Different ways to get to the settings menu;
Hit the . . . button on your remote and select settings, use voice saying 'settings' or scroll down to the settings menu on the home menu.

I have done that but not that often, surely it shouldn't need to be done that frequently to function properly?
