Remote only half works

I've changed the batteries but I can only turn sky on and off or volume up and down. I can't change channels or get the menu or in fact anything else. I have turned it all off at the wall , turned the box off for an hour ! Please help!

Try re pairing your remote 

1. Press and hold 7 and 9 together for 3 seconds.
2. Press and hold 1 and 3 together for 3 seconds.
3. Wait until you see the 'Your remote is now connected' message and select Continue.
