Red Button football matches

Wanted to watch some football tonight on Red Button. Matches available via Sky Go on iPad so I knew they were there. Tried everything to get them via the Sky Stream Puck. Apparently your supposed to get a menu when you press the button with 4 coloured dots, but this button does nothing. Tried rebooting the puck and relinking the remote up but still nothing. Ended up watching via Sky go on the iPad but would prefer to watch on the big tv.

I have multi room ( second puck ) and this is the same.

Any suggestions?

Re: Red Button football matches

If there are games on the red button, you do get a prompt when you're on the main channel. Which game was it because the odd one has been reported by the media as being on the red button but was on Sky Sports Arena

Re: Red Button football matches

It was on red button, you had to be on Sky sports football channel and then press the coloured dots button on top of your remote

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

That match was red button.

You could always say the team into your Sky Stream remote, so it picks up the match from the rail, like below.

Listed in the live rail close or during the match under the Home>Sports>football section

Another way to launch the red button, is from the Sky Tennis channel ( red button is available regularly on that channel), as the football, F1 and Tennis all share that space. Just pan down between the sports.

Re: Red Button football matches

I'm sure I tried that. Got nothing whenever I pressed the coloured buttons, whatever channel I was on.

Re: Red Button football matches

If it doesn't work, you can sometimes find them right at the bottom of the EPG. Go to all channels and scroll all the way to the bottom
