Re: Sorry but we are having technical difficulties Unfortunately, we have not been able to proceed

Attempted to sign up for the 900mb and sky stream service but getting the same technical problem message.

By the way if I do eventually manage to sign up does Sky Stream have a normal TV guide to access channels straight away without having to down apps like BBC iPlayer.

@JM486 where the online system wont accept an order you will need to call Sky with full fobre there are areas where Openreach wont accept orders for new Gigabit connections but there are other reasons why the online ordering system isnt accepting an order.

The Stream puck has the TV guide and all of the Apps ready for you to sign-in. The Apps actually run centrally so you dont have to download and update as you do with Smart TVs. The disadvantage is you cannot add or remove apps yourself. There is a TV guide for linear channels but the easiest way to access programming is by using the menu rails or the very effective voice search function. It is worth going and getting a demonstration at one of Sky's retail stands in shopping centres.
