Re: Sky streaming Puck keeps freezing

Nice idea, but I don't sit there with the remote in my hand all the time, bottom line is, that it shouldn't be freezing in the first place

Re: Sky streaming Puck keeps freezing

Unless the puck is faulty in which case Customer Service  can detect that and replace it, the only reasons that could cause a puck to freeze are a defective connection to your router (if you're connected via Ethernet)or your broadband connection is unstable causing the puck to glitch. I believe there have been reports of nearby electrical equipment interfering with the puck, but I'm not familiar with that myself.

Re: Sky streaming Puck keeps freezing

Strange how it's only the puck that seems to suffer on a 1Gbps ethernet connection only 2 feet from the router, even my Firestick which is on wireless has no issues, one PC in the house is running on ethernet via powerline adaptors, probably the worst way to connect and it has no issues streaming. I have 2 pucks on different TV's and they both do the freeze/pause thing. Only common thing is they both connect to Sky and I think thats where the issue lives

Re: Sky streaming Puck keeps freezing

If I'm understanding you correctly and apologies if I've got it wrong you're saying that you have your pucks connected via eithernet.Have you tried connecting via Wi-Fi because the Ethernet input of the back of your puck is limited to 100 Mb. Now it shouldn't make a difference because all the blurb says that 25 to 35 Mb per second is sufficient for UHD reception, but it may be worth a try. It may also be worth a try resetting the puck from the settings menu. you'd be surprised, and I speak from personal experience how many issues doing that are solved.
