Random adverts during live ITV shows

The last few days while watching ITV live there have been adverts starting during the programme for Trigger Point. It then goes black and doesn't come back on. The sound of the live TV show is playing but picture is black. 

The only way to sort it is to turn the steam puck off and back on again at the socket. 

Any tips for how to sort this?

It's when I'm watching live TV on channel 103.

Do you have add skipping? Not sure if it works  for itv live channel  where you can skip the adds

I've just had it appear while watching a movie on Prime Video. 

A trigger point advert with no sound. JT flicks through images then screen goes black. To get rid of it I need to restart my box. Very frustrating.

Ad skipping does not work on live channels, how can it?

I'm not talking about ad skipping on live TV. Of course that wouldn't work 😂

We have seen something like this in the past on the community.

If I recall, no restart resolved ghe issue, it was more a Sky backend fix.

When watching anything, BBC live stream or an app like Netflix there are inappropriate (not suitable for children) itv ads keep just coming in without warning. No sounds. This morning it keeps showing us an advert for Trigger point. 
my daughter was watching Netflix on her kids profile and it just came in mid episode. My daughter was quite upset with the images. 
This happened yesterday too, watching skyine and the paper and would just come on without warning again. 

I have tried to reset the box but it is still happening.

There is no reason why advert should come on
