Radio X drops when TV screen is switched off
I work from home & always have radio X on during the day, but the TV screen switched off to save "burning in". The radio plays through the TV speakers, but screen set to "off", also saving energy. This was received via a freesat box, hooked up to my Sky dish via shotgun coax. Since installing Sky Stream, I now have to faff around getting into the app, scrolling along to Radio X, THEN going down to hit the "play" button (this seems completely redundant to me).
I then use the TV remote to knock the screen off, & 60 seconds later the radio stops! If you re enable the tv screen, the app has gone from "play" to "stop", this is a massive headache & seriously impacting my enjoyment of the SKY Stream service.
As an aside, I have also found the whole menu system very clunky, the amount of menus you have to wade through, just to get BBC or Sky news on, the Jury is out on whether I'll keep this or not. Currently pretty underwhelmed with it, & paying £18- a Month, as opposed to Freesat £0 per month.
If anyone has a fix for the radio X issue, I've been into the app settings & nothing there...

Re: Radio X drops when TV screen is switched off
@gavva you could try turning off HDMI control in the Start upmand Standby settings but i suspect you are stuck as the pucks have energy saving features built-in by regulation so will turn off if they do not detect a TV being used.
Finding recently viewed channels is best done by going left from the home tile where you will find sources you viewed recently.
