Questions about Sky Stream and existing external subscriptions.
Just a quick question.
I'm looking to get Sky Sports channels, so it's working out at Sky £15, Sports £20, UHD £6 so a total of £41
I'm already paying £17 to Netflix for UHD, etc. How would this work with Sky? If I added the subscription to Sky, would I get the UHD in Netflix, or have to pay extra for that?
Also, I have Discovery + with TNT Sports via BT. That's only £10 per month, but it's full TNT sports. I notice Sky are doing it for £25, so the assumption is it's not worth taking this out with Sky.

Re: Questions about Sky Stream and existing external subscriptions.
The £15 Sky Essentials pack includes the Netflix Standard with Ads tier. The UHD tier through Sky is £11 ordinarily (screenshot taken 10/3/25 as a new customer opting for a 24 month contract- don't rely on the price being £10). Be aware that if you pay for an extra member on your current Netflix plan, this is not supported on the Sky inclusive Netflix.

Thanks. So I could add the £10 tier and save £7 from my existing. I'll probably keep hold for the moment. My priority is getting the football channels.

Yes. Paid for seperately, 4K tier Netflix would be £18.99 & Sky Essentials £15 (24 month) would be £33.99. Taking the same Netflix tier through Sky would be £11 (possibly £10 with a new customer offer) & Sky Essentials £15, so £26.
You can also vary the Netflix plan you are on month by month, so in June you could pay the extra £11 for the Premium tier, take it down to Standard With Ads in July and pay nothing on top of Sky Essentials, then take it back up to Premium in August.
Sky integrated Netflix was very much part of our price thinking when we signed up for Glass, Stream, Sky Ultimate & Sky Cinema back in January 2023 as we were existing Netflix subscribers anyway.
Hopefully a Sky Stream sports subsciber can chime in to answer or comment on the football side of things.
