Queries about eligibility for Sky Stream

Hiya!

I was looking into getting a Sky Stream - however I live in shared accomodation, and it's not my building, I just rent a room here. We have WiFi and it does meet the requirements for Sky Stream I believe, we avg about 100mbps download.

Am I able to get the Sky Stream on this address, I believe I would be the only Sky customer here.

I would also be getting Sky Mobile alongside it.

As long as there's no other current Sky Television subscriptions at the address then that's OK for you: it becomes a problem for anyone else though.

Quite why Sky insists on this exclusivity for Glass/Stream is frankly a mystery.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Perhaps be aware that there's potentially a problem if your building has a managed WiFi network which requires notification of device MAC address though, because a Stream puck has to be activated before its MAC is visible to the user.
