Re: QS036 update

I understand what your saying, it's easy to just say google is wrong. But I literally forced an update yesterday, which is what led me to this thread. Maybe it's a forced update that has already been commissioned or sanctioned but failed. All I know is I'm more inclined to believe the advisor at sky over someone on the internet, especially as they are not a normal advisor they are specifically from the sky glass tech team.

Also there's footnotes on google of where the information a.i. has found comes from I don't just take what the ai says and run with it, I do go to those websites and read the information for myself. But you can believe what you want. I know what I know because I once had a problem with the software updating and that's when the guy told me to follow those steps and force the update. Like I said maybe it's only after the update has been commissioned but it's still remains that by doing that you "can" force an update. It doesn't state that it will.

Re: QS036 update

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

You are partly correct - a reset can force a failed update. There's also an option to force a failed update in the main settings so a reset probably wasn't required

you can only get an update when the it's released for the particular update batch your devices are in .
