Puck always rebooting

Hi All,

 

So the other day, I was tidying up which meant I had to disconnect the puck from the bedroom TV, and since then, it won't work.

 

The device powers on, it was show the Sky logo, but it will keep going into a loop of showing no connection, then the sky logo. It will go from a solid white light, to a flashing white light.

 

I have tried all of the steps like resetting it, which it does something and it shows it's updating, but then it gets back into the same loop.

 

I have tried calling Sky and their was an automated message about some pucks being stuck in standby mode, I'm not sure if this effects me? Or is this some other issue.

I have had this issue twice and had to have replacement pucks - I would ring sky and they will talk you through the troubleshooting 

 

you can try pulling the plug and holding the button in underneath when plugging back on. Once you see the lights on the puck run through a coloured cycle you can let go of the button 

 

this did not resolve my issue unfortunately

I've done all of that with no joy, I last did it this morning.

 

I just went to check on it again though, and it let me hgo through the set up process, which I did, activated the puck, selected my favorute channels, then as i was browsing the home page, it went off again and it's in the loop of showing the Sky logo, then no connection for HDMI.

Quite annoying, the wait time of the phone is around 30 minutes which I don't have time to wait, and live chat isn't available.

There are quieter times to call .... from memory first thing in the morning or in the evenings 

 

I'm sure I'll be corrected on that though!
