@Chloe20031 when asked to enter a PIN ignore it and switch the puck off at the plug and then switch it on again after about 30 seconds. The puck will then reboot and you can continue the recovery process.
Also make sure you are signed into your MySky account when you need to enter the activation code.
Good luck.

I'm having the same issue. It won't accept my pin after following the instructions to get the puck working again following the outage. I've changed the pin has instructed but no luck. Trying to get through to sky now.

@Debi2 Do the process again but DO NOT enter a PIN number. when you get to this step switch off your puck at the plug socket and then switch it on again after about 30 seconds. The puck will then reboot and you can continue with the setup procedure.
Also, when you get to the stage of entering the activation code make sure you are signed into you MySky account at www.sky.com
Good luck
