Problems with paramount plus

I have a problem with my paramount plus app in that I initially set up my paramount plus with a different email. That email has now been closed and although I have changed my email on my main account with sky, the paramount app does not seem able to acknowledge that fact on my PUCK! And so when I log in it insists I set up a new account which I did but had to pay extra, as sky AI (what on earth is that supposed to do???) cud not help and even an agent has seemingly not given me the full picture, quite ironic that seeing as I have a problem with my TV sevices! So 2 things a) I need to link my paramount and sky accounts ie the new one, and b)if I get charged the extra money for the subscription I tried to link to without being allowed to access to the service I will have no alternative but to move to a competitor when my contract expires.

Surely if you setup Paramount Plus with an email address that has now closed, you need to be updating the email address on your Paramount + account (https://support.paramountplus.com/s/article/PI-How-do-I-change-the-email-associated-with-my-Paramoun...).

 

If you have signed up to a new paramount plus account with the new email address, then that is what would likely have caused the issue as your previously used paramount plus account will be the account that is linked to your Sky account. If you have created a new paramount + account i believe you need to go into the Sky Marketplace, cancel the paramount + and then you can go through the process of relinking with your new paramount + accoun ( https://www.sky.com/help/articles/using-paramount-plus )

As above.

 

You should have logged into your Paramount + and just changed the email address in the account settings there.

 

But, as you have now created a new P+ account with your new email address, you will need as above, to remove the old account from Sky Marketplace and reactivate paramount+ from your Sky box, with the new P+ account you have created.

Either do a voice search and say "My Sky" or from the Home screen scroll down to My Sky.

Select Your products. You’ll then be asked to enter your Sky TV PIN.

You will the see Sky Marketplace subscriptions and should be able to select and cancel any active subscriptions.

I'm having problems with Paramount Plus as well. This has been going on for at least 2/3 weeks and I'm unable to access the app on my Sky Q box and the phone app. I got in touch with Paramount the Chatbot on their website after which they have been sending me emails about this and to be fair they have been keeping me up to date but the last email I had was Saturday 07.02.2026 to say they are still looking into the problem and I haven't heard anything else since.

I'm having an awful problem. I Cannot Get on Paramount Plus at all even though Sky fully admit I have it through them.  They tried to use some **bleep** about changing my e mail address but I've only ever had one, so they blame Paramount.   I contact Paramount, they have no account with me with them so they blame Sky.

 

so I have 2 Companies BOTH blaming each other so I decide to cancel it altogether with Sky and just cut out the Middle Man...Guess what, turns out there's a problem so in still paying £6 a month for an app I cannot use.

 

i know it's not much money but I am disabled and it's the Principal of the thing.   I'm at my wits end.

I don't quite understand Paramount saying you don't have an account with them, its Sky. That would be factually incorrect as all Sky are doing is essentially paying the bill on your Paramount + account, but your actual account is with Paramount ( and Sky wouldn't have access to an account on a third party service, all they would perhaps be able to see is if your Sky account is linked with a Paramount + account).

 

The first question would be have your created a Paramount + account and linked it to your Sky account as per the instructions here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-get-paramount-plus

I'm having problems too.

 

I have signed in to Sky & Paramount with the same email. 

 

I get this message constantly.

 

Any idea how to fix?

I got back onto Sky this morning and found someone who actually took an interest. She was brilliant and she fixed it for me.  Firstly I would go to your account on your TV because that's where I discovered that Sky Marketplace (which you have to use if you want to get rid of ads) had stopped taking money out 6 months ago.  Not sure if that helped. I have the lady calling again tomorrow at about 1pm I will ask her to tell me in detail how she fixed it.
