Problem linking Puck with new LG TV

After issues reset puck and registered remote.

One press operates puck okay but does not switch TV on but a long press does.

Instead of coming up with Sky screen it goes to LG home screen from which you can go to HDMI and Sky home screen comes up but no voice activation

Long press turns TV off but not puck.

Spent hours trying to resolve.

Have whole house package with three pucks and remotes. Other systems work fine.

Re: Problem linking Puck with new LG TV

Hi @RogerTa

Is HDMI Control enabled on Sky via Settings and then Start up and standby?

Likewise, on your LG settings is SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC) enabled? On mine, it's in settings > connection > device connection settings, but I imagine this varies by model.

What happens if when it's all off, you press Sky remote Home button for a bit and wait, rather than using the power button?

Hi @RogerTa

It's a case of working through the codes as per the advice here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/remote-control-help-sky-glass-lg-tv

It seems there are issues with LG TVs.
