Please wait homepage not loading

Just switched on puck and no home page i add to wait for ages to come on please wait popped up came back about 900 anybody else add this issue

If you press the home button a couple of times that message should go and display the home screen.

 

Worth check you also have the overnight powersaving mode set to OFF in the settings as well.

It was possibly finishing off a software update - a new version is being pushed out in batches at the moment. Give your puck another reboot by turning it off at the wall for a minute or two then power it back on. That should hopefully bring it back to full operational speed.

Just switched it back on this morning and it's still done it again please wait waiting for hours to come on just chatting to sky help team they ran a diagnostic tool and said they think I should get my broadband checked via sky is that possible

Did you switch it of at plug or put it into standby with the remote?

Do you have network standby mode turned on? 
Your broadband speed should be enough but is on the borderline, especially if any other devices in your home start using any bandwidth. Sky Stream needs a constant stable connection to Sky's servers to function with any form of stability. If possible, try connecting to your router using ethernet cable & turn WiFi off in the puck's network settings.

Could be a dodgy puck then. Was it working fine before or has it just started doing this?

If you're happy to wait for it to wake up then carry on, but it shouldn't take that long to start up so you should give Sky a ring and request a replacement.

Yes I have done that a few times pressed the button on the remote and it does go off and back to homepage and yes the overnight saving mode is switched to off thanks for reply mark 👍

When I switched it on this evening I got the homepage come Up and everything seemed fine it only happens if its been off for so long and you switch it on in the morning and you got to wait for homepage to load then you will get the please wait pop up
