Playlists and playback not fit for purpose

I used to have Sky Q which was great.

I 'upgraded' to Sky Streaming about 5 months ago and am not impressed with the Playlist function or the 'watch from start' function!

I'm a real F1 fan and love the Sky coverage, which is the main reason I opted to get both my ultrafast broadband and Sky streaming when it became available in my area.

Firstly, I find, in general, the streaming TV home page is annoying and not intuitive. I'm very computer savvy but often find that it's too easy to select something I don't want due to the opening page presentation and functionality.

Secondly, the F1 playlist doesn't always record the first live Grand Prix and at other times it doesn't 'record' a race in it's entirety, when playing it jumps laps as if it's a hi-light show but in a strange way.

Thirdly, if I watch a live TV programme and select 'watch from the start' it's fine until I pause the playback for some reason. If the live broadcast programme finishes before I press play again, the programme is not available anymore. This has to be a basic software issue and suggests that the people writing it don't use the service. This is not as unlikely as it sounds!

I'm sorry Sky but you need to up your game when it comes to streaming!

Perhaps you should add your comments to this recent survey all around Playlists and report your same thoughts to Sky;
