Picture freezing on tv

Have Sky broadband and LG tv. All channels work well except when watching live sports on Discovery where picture freezes or breaks up every few seconds

@what internet connection have you got and what speed are you getting on your puck ..... you can find this in the Netflix app in the get help section under check connection

Then following is skys recommendation 

 

if you have other bandwidth heavy devices running the same time they could affect the below 

 

The minimum speeds  recommended by Sky are as follows:

HD = 25mbps

UHD = 30mbps

HD + 1 puck = 30mbps

UHD + 1 puck = 35mbps

I'm afraid I am useless at the technical stuff. I bought Sky fibre 100 a couple of months ago and was told that would be more than adequate for my needs. I have nothing else running and the service checker says everything looks good at 510 Mb/s. Sky sport runs perfectly and Discovery is also fine except for live sport which is unwatchable although it works fine on my tablet.

Try 

 

1. pulling the plug from the mains for 10 minutes

 

if that doesn't work 

 

2. in the sky puck settings there is an option to "refresh apps". This works in the background over a few hours
