@Royalrfc have you checked to see if your broadband service is still active at that time?

As above, that more is likely to be some kind of broadband issue.
Most ISPs do their broadband maintenance or WAN ip renewals in the early hours.
I often watch live sport in late evening to early hours and have not seen any issues with Sky Stream
If it's any Sky Stream/Glass updates they seem to take place more around the 3-4am time, but the box/Tv will flag it or do it when box is in standby. Plus, it will be a restart of the box/Tv, with before and after the restart no loss of connection.
