Online buying system for Sky Stream is broken
I've been trying to find out how much Sky Stream will cost me on a monthly basis (not 24 months) for the big package, with Sky Movies, Ad Skip, Netflix without Ads. I complete the process on the website only to be told there is a technical issue and please try later. I tried yesterday afternoon, yesterday evening, yesterday midnight and this morning. All with the same result. I am looking to replace VirginMedia with Sky but this experience is putting me off.

We are fellow subscribers here on the community. You will need to call Sky if the online journey isn't working for you. See: https://www.sky.com/help/home scroll now to need more help and you will see an 0333 number (the forum software doesn't allow us to post phone numbers).
Or you can use th online chat on that page or visit a Sky retail store or stand.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply but I tried it and ended up with a blank page! Looking at the developer tools I'm getting lots of "denied by client" erros so I suspect whoever wrote Sky's website didn't test it with modern security-obsessed browsers like Chrome or Safari. I'm still stuck. I'm disabled so going to the store some five miles away isn't really an option at present. I'd just like to speak to soemone on the phone...

We have found from many customers reporting the same over many months on this community, that if you are a current Sky Q or Sky+ customer it will not allow you to order Sky Stream online.
This often also happens for those that have recently been Sky subscribers and even some that have note been.
You will have to call Sky to order Sky Stream, if this is happening.
You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:

Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. A some of the quieter times to ring are early morning or late evening.
