Nothing but problems.

Just over a month ago we came back to sky and took out the sky stream package. What a mistake this was, we had been sky Q customers for years and how I wish the salesman had not convinced me to swap to sky stream. A month later we have already had the puck changed to a new one as the last one had to be swapped due to being faulty. The sky representative Chris even told me wife on the phone that sky customers had issues with that model of puck but sky were sending them out.

So now on our second puck and it is no better constantly needing resetting, getting the software updating screen which just sits (30+ mins) there until you unplug the puck again and start over. I spoke to sky the other day and have made the decision to go back to being a sky Q customer as I feel until sky get the problems fixed with sky stream puck then it is not fit for purpose. When I told the sky representative this on the phone he'd didn't disagree either.

@gingechef

Sadly, not uncommon. Sky Stream works well for some customers and badly for others. It all normally comes down to the speed and quality of the broadband network you have in your home, and getting a puck which is functional and connects to a good server. There are many customers who have a perfectly fine experience with Sky Stream, but also a lot who don't

It's good however, that Sky haven't been obstructive and have let you switch back to Sky Q without fuss. Q does seem to remain the more stable platform for many customers.
