Noob can not get stream setup :(

Hello.

Got a noob question regarding sky stream.

So, I have just moved from virgin media to sky stream, I also changed broadband provider.

On trying to setup sky stream My remote ( original Sony remote and virgin media remote) won’t select the CHOOSE YOUR ROUTER from list. However, when I press ok to get the list nothing happens, so I stuck at the first hurdle.

Don’t know how to progress I’m total lost.

If I contact sky, will they send someone to help me?

Thank you.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@rebon  Try using the Pucks supplied remote rather than another manufacturers remote, you may have more luck.

Sky won't send anyone to help set it up as that not in the model for Stream & Glass

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Noob can not get stream setup :(

Thank's for the information, I did manage to set up sky stream on my livingroom tv, however I am not having much luck so far with the other 2 tv's.

The main problem seems to be I cant seem to pair the remote to the puck, so I cant get passed the choose connection screen.

Each puck should have come with its own remote. Make sure you have batteries correctly installed in each remote and the paper tab has been fully removed from the battery compartment. Then try to pair each puck to its own remote.
