Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more"No Satellite Signal" usually indicates an issue with one or more of the following:
You may have to call out a local satellite installer, unless you have Sky Protect insurance, to check/fix your system, another option is to move to Sky Q, as during the move all issues will be resolved as part of the install, there is also the option of Sky Glass or Sky Stream, if you want to move away from satellite TV and use the Internet

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Levicindy "No signal" is normally a TV message, do you mean No satellite signal? If so it may be your dish out of alignment, if thats the case you'll need to seek out 3rd party installer as Sky no longer maintain Sky+ setups, alternatively you could upgrade to Sky Q.

If you don't have Sky Protect, you'll need to find (and pay for) a local satellite installer to come out and have a look.
Alternatively, now might be a good opportunity to upgrade to Sky Q - the dish and cabling will be inspected at no additional cost as part of the Sky Q installation.

"No Satellite Signal" is an error generated by your Sky box, it has nothing to do with broadband (Internet connectivity) and usually indicates an issue with one or more of the following:
You may have to call out a local satellite installer, unless you already have Sky Protect insurance, to check/fix your system, another option is to move to Sky Q, as during the move all issues will be resolved as part of the install, there is also the option of Sky Glass or Sky Stream, if you want to move away from satellite TV and use the Internet

Sorry,I don't understand what you mean, do you mean HDMI 1 ? If so it disconnected to that and the SKY logo shows on the screen, the light on the small box flashes for a short while then it goes off. Sorry if you don't understand what I've said. If that's not what you meant , I don't understand.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@MT531 does the message on screen say 'no signal' or 'no satellite signal'? They're not the same.

It says no signal. When I switch to HDMI1 the Sky logo appears on the screen then disappears light on the box flashes for a while, then goes off and no signal is back on the screen. Sorry to sound thick but as you can tell I'm not at all "technically" minded
