No reward for loyalty

Had Stream for 18 months so I've just gone out of contract and price risen to £31pm.

Called sky and the best they could offer was £28pm. Yet new customers can have stream for £22pm.

Sky obviously dont value existing customers so I've cancelled. Which a shame because apart from a lack of intgration bteween the epg and catchup it's one of the best systems I've tried.

@bikeman12  You would have already had your new customer discounts when you originally signed up.  You won't get them again unless you leave for at least 18 months.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@bikeman12

Most, if not all providers do this now. From recent posts on here it does seem that decent deals are increasingly hard to find. If you choose to leave the same will happen at the end of your discounted deal with whoever you go with.

Re: No reward for loyalty

Current price for Stream is £26, (discounted £22).

£26 is what I would expect to pay.

I guess losing customers works for Sky.

Re: No reward for loyalty

Definitely better than the normal price of £31 as it went up in April but I get it for £28 and many more discounts for being in a contract. Sky Sports is just £18, many more games to watch from next month 😁

That £5 difference is the cost to Sky to attract new subscribers😉

After cancellation Sky may make a better offer to attract your return as a subscriber🤔
