Anyone else not able to find the Monaco go race in sky stream. I have a truncated main event version that doesn't give the actual race?

Mmmm - sound like it's something specific to my glass then. I'll have another look and give sky a call. I just have the main event recording which is truncated.

@Macgoober Which did you select to watch it on?

I watched it live also and have all the three race day programmes for the Monaco sitting in my Playlist.
F1 for the whole season for me on Sky Stream has all cloud recorded and set into my playlist perfectly.
I set the playlist recordings from the Sky F1 uhd and it series link all the weekends programme sets, practice sessions, , qualy, race day programmes, plus the Drivers press conference.
I also recorded same for Teds set of programmes and all those have been fine through the season also.

@lettice it's the same for me I only switched over the winter but I have every single session also still cloud recorded in UHD/HDR.
@Exiled-in-HH it makes no difference where you add it from on stream, changing channels does not break the series link like on satellite, most of the cloud recedings I have for example weekends where FP1 is from F1, FP2 and FP3 from Main Event, qualy from F1 and the race from Main Event, yesterday I think was the first weekend where everything across all three days recorded from F1, I also actually recorded the play off final and that came from football UHD which would have been 901/902, I added it from 403 which would have been HD.

@IWTD how does it continue recording the rest of the race if the broadcast has switched to soccer?

@Exiled-in-HH It doesn't, in this instance it should not have been recording from Main Event in the first place, what I mean by channel switch. Is for example if something changes from say action to arena or main event, or in the case of TNT where it happens more often form TNT1 to TNT2 etc it just continues being in your playlist and set to record, whereas on Q you mostly needed to add it to the planner again as a new entry,

Unfortunately that isn't always the case and it depends on the show.
Ive seen plenty of examples where a sport has switched from TNT Sports 1 to one of the other TNT Sports channels for an event or for a few weeks if it's a regular weekly or monthly event and the cloud recording feature doesn't work and the playlist doesn't update so instead you have to go through Discovery + manually to watch that particular sporting event.
With regards to the F1 I watched it a couple of hours delayed and my cloud recording recorded the race from the F1 channel, although the pre race build up was recorded from Main Event for some reason (I've noticed it has a habit of doing this). However I've always had the full broadcast so for instance if the schedule only has part of the race being broadcast on Sky Sports Main Event I've always seen it record the race and post race from F1 whilst the build up may be from Main Event.
It will be all be resolved once the on-demand is edited together and uploaded which I'd guess would be at some point tomorrow.

@MarkGoldsmith
It strange how the cloud recordings seem to be from different channels for different people as I was under the impression that it's not a personal cloud recording and just essentially linking you to the same as other people, but yes I know what you mean as I posted it earlier that channel jumping form Main Event to F1 has been happening to me all season.
As for TNT I think I know what you mean as it kinda happened here with the WWE, but it was actually recording but for some reason it had a expiry date of five minutes after the programme finished so never showed as being recorded, it happened for a few weeks straight, I have never counted this as a big issue as like you say Discovery+ actually has the cloud receding anyway, I only knew this was happening as back around March time I was watching the last Anthony Joshua fight which was a Friday night in Saudi and finished past midnight, the Americans had already put their clocks forward whereas we had not so they weee starting at 12am a hour earlier, Smackdown was right there recording and at the front of continue watching and present and correct in the playlist entry but the expiry was written in the description, by the morning it looked like nothing had happened and the playlist entry had been pushed back down a week.

Yup.
Another good example is the Formula E coverage of TNT. It's shows in the playlist when it's live then it disappears and has to be watched on Discovery +. It was working fine then stopped working sometime in April. I can access the cloud recordings via the playlist for races from Jan to March and that's it.
Im surprised it doesn't link to the recording in discovery +, I suspect some update to the Discovery + app has caused this behaviour.

See you mention the Formula E but it's perfect for me, it makes me question why is the Sky Stream experience different for different people, the Formula E has cloud recorded each session practice, Qualy and races, yes they have dropped off from the playlist from earlier in the season but everything from Italy FP3 up to China yesterday is there, same with MotoGP no issues, yesteray alone I had the Monaco GP, playoff final, Indy 500, Formula E, MotoGP all cloud record without a single hitch.
This my Formula E playlist entry, I have shown the first and last entries.

@IWTD @Macgoober said recording was made on main event was main event selected from the EPG?

Indeed and that is what we are seeing with the F1 coverage - some users have it working fine on the playlist and cloud recording and others have issues.
I did mean to remove the Formula E from my playlist and then re-add it to see if it goes back to normal on it but I keep forgetting. Guess I'll try it for the Portland race at the end of June and see if it cloud records properly again. I actually hate having to watch via the Discovery + catch up service as there fast forwarding and rewind functionality is so much worse on that then if Sky actually cloud record it and you use that FF functionality.

I have just had this issue occur with today's Austrian GP, Grand Prix Sunday and Chequered Flag have recorded in full from SSF1 as has the rest of the weekend, but the actual race today only recorded 17m from Main Event.
