I wonder why sky is not looking at adding African based contents as well, to boost diversity. There Arabic channels and Indians channels. But no dedicated channels for African movies, dramas, new etc.
Or could it be that something is on the pipeline?

In general there are far fewer International channels on Glass/ Stream than the legacy satellite platforms: that may be because audience share on those services just doesn't justify their owners investing in the technology and administration required for listing on the new system, necessarily including online distribution rights.
Sky-brand channels themselves are intended for large audiences rather than diaspora communities. It's perhaps worth noting Canal+ chose to close down their ROK Nollywood film channel as being economically unviable over satellite in the UK.

Re: No African Content on Sky Tv
Hi @Djosh
We are fellow customer so we don't know why. However Sky can't add channels unilaterally. They need a carriage deal between the broadcaster and Sky. It's also likely that Sky require specific standards that these smaller channels are unable or unwilling to meet.
Sky publish the channel availablity here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/tv-channel-list-sky-glass
