We've just switched from Q after downgrading our package. I've had Stream set up since Sunday and twice already the box has stopped showing video.
live TV is just a static picture
catch-up and apps like Netflix and Apple TV don't play although you can fast forward and see the thumbnails moving - but selecting play doesn't work.
powering the box off then returns service to normal
all other aspects of the UI work - so it's not as off the box is frozen - just that it does play anything!
anybody else have this issue ? I suppose it's possible the puck if faulty

More likley to be a slow or unstable internet connection, especially if it is connected by WiFi and is sharing bandwidth a lot of other devices in your home.
If you can get to it, try the Netflix connection test and see what speed you get.
If possible use an ethernet connection to your router and when doing so, disable the WiFi in the puck.

Don't think that's the problem - Netflix & co continue to work direct off the TV and other devices.
but when it happens next time I'll try the Netflix connection test to see what it shows.

I think there was a software update soon after logging this which fixed the issue.
