You've posted on the stream board but mention mini boxes. Which platform do you have; Stream or Sky Q?

If you mean the Sky Stream Puck, rather than a Sky Q Mini box, no. Sky Stream has no local recording service. Everything is streamed

Neither a Sky Q mini or Sky Stream Puck support local recording.

A Sky Q mini stores any recordings on the Sky Q main box.

A Sky Stream Puck may make a cloud recording on the servers to which the Sky Stream Puck is connected ... depending on broadcaster's rights😉
