New puck no Atmos with Dolby Digital Plus
I received a new puck with the different power cable a few months ago due to issues with my old puck. The new puck no longer plays anything in Atmos when using the Dolby Digital plus sound setting. Change to pass through and Atmos works. I wanted DD+ so in YouTube, Iplayer etc I can choose the surround setting on my amp instead of just stereo.
Atmos worked fine on the old puck using DD+ and I have attached the puck to other tvs and sound bars and none of them play Atmos only if you change the sound setting to pass through.
Anyone able to get Atmos using Dolby Digital plus with the puck with new power cable?

@purpleparrotuk The V2 puck with the different power supply runs the same OS,
Have you tried auto as the default?

It likely has different internal components though, some of which possibly require different audio drivers to the original puck.
Stream pucks have been manufactured in such vast quantities over the past 5 years that it would be impossible for them all to have identical chipsets and components from the same manufacturers.
I think this is what's partially causing some SkyOS users to have such different experiences, despite all using the same platform.
Missing tiles on the UI, audio drop-outs, picture stuttering, etc, some customers get them, others (allegedly) don't.
It seems to be proving difficult for Sky to issue the same software version and UI version to all pucks, hence the different numbering, and different experiences for customers.

@GD1 auto is terrible. Atmos stutters every second.

Re: New puck no Atmos with Dolby Digital Plus
I have the exact same problem. New box with a new power connector and DD+ doesn't output Dolby Atmos.
Auto sound setting does, but every night after entering standby there is a form of reset and the next day the Auto setting will only output PCM. The box needs to then be reset to return to Dolby Atmos.
Pass through also gives Dolby Atmos - but every ad break leads to losing sound.
So essentially Dolby Atmos isn't possible with the new box without faily box resets?
