Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Have changed onto the OS trial this morning, how do I revert back, we use the Playlists for the majority of our viewing and that my library function is useless to us, don't like it at all.

Can you please help.

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

@lturton Apparently you can do it through the "Sky OS" App on the box itself however the My Library is the same as Playlist? You can switch playlist at the bottom of that screen.

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Hi @lturton

It's great to see your interest in the trial. We want to help. You mentioned you don't like the replacement for Playlists. Can you give us some more information about what's different or what you're struggling to do?

Thanks

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Hi Community Managers, I am on the Sky OS 2.0 beta trial and it is completely broken for me. All of my programmes are freezing and failing to load entirely. It is unusable. Please can a Sky Employee remove my device from the beta pool and force a rollback to the stable public software as soon as possible? Thank you I am on the sky puck

@alanbroomfield.18  You need to remove your self from the trial by going into the Sky OS Trial app on Glass/Stream

Leaving the trial

Don't want to take part in the trial? You can opt out at any time:

  1. Go to the Apps rail.
  2. Open the Sky OS Trial app.
  3. Select Leave trial.

Once your request has been received, your device will return to the original version of Sky OS within 72 hours. We’ll send you a survey to ask about your experience and your reasons for leaving the trial.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi @alanbroomfield.18

As @GD1 has highlighted, you can do that on your device, but we'd rather try to help you figure out a solution.

You've mentioned it's your puck, do you have other Sky devices that are working OK?

Thanks

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Was on beta new system and decided to change back which happened yesterday, turned on tv today and am now back on beta new screen but have now got live tv back, all looks good at moment, much prefer new look.

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

I had the same, i had one for each adult, one for the kids and a Christmas one. I can only see one which is frustrating i agree.

Can this be fed back to sky to offer a merged playlist or an easier way to access the different ones?

Hi @lturton

Thanks for your reply.

You can switch your Watchlists (previously named Playlist) in My Library (at the bottom of the page) or in Settings 🙂

Can you let us know if they are showing for you, please?

Thanks

Hi @defector16

That's strange.  We've passed the details to our support teams to find out why this happened.

Thanks

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Is there any likelihood of BBC, ITV & C4 channels supporting cloud recording in the future?
