Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Thanks @Angel_Aka I forgot about the TV app..

Think i'll wait for the release version, too many bugs and not enough feedback from Sky on any update revisions etc.

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

@KevNewMedia not much feedback that hasnt already been said. Apart from the list of features that will be added, and echo the feedback about logos on the TV guide being too small, as well as more differentiation betweem "watchlist" and "record" (just to add could we make it esier to mass-delete recordings?).

My main feedback i havent seen mentioned - if you have the "default to live tv" switched on (which i do and so happy about!) could we add an option to set a start-up volume? I often switch the tv on at night after the kids are asleep and it comes on booming from when they had it on during the day.

Setting a start up volume would only be possible on the Sky Glass version of OS 2.0 because it is embedded in the hardware.
Stream pucks are slave devices and cannot receive volume level information from a TV or soundbar, nor can it send a specific command to every single make & model of TV in the country to come out of standby at a specific volume level.

I know but we need to put Glass feedback here as well as there isn't a OS 2.0 conversation on the Glass board. There are plenty of start up faetures that are Glass only for this reason, so I think it's valid feedback (on a specific TV you'll be able to set a start up volume).

@mrwwt  Yep all feedback for Glass TV's and Pucks need to be added within this thread so yes we'll see Glass specific feedback as you've mentioned.

OS 2.0

Has anybody heard any news about when the public rollout of Sky OS 2.0 will be updated to all sky glass/Puck devices.  Will it be before the beginning of November.

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

How do you turn off the start on tv channel setting in the BETA? I don't actually like it

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Go to settings and then 'start up and standby'. There's a toggle next to 'default to live tv'
